Bulletproof, an innovative and expanding Cyber Security specialist, is looking to recruit a Sales Team Lead, based in Stevenage, to support and develop our Inbound Team as we continue to grow. With a background in B2B Sales and Sales Management, we are looking for a motivated individual to lead and mentor, as well as to deliver on individual targets. Leading by example, and with the support of the Sales Management Team, the Sales Team Lead will assist in developing the Inbound Team, coordinating sales operations, and refining sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.

As a pivotal member of our Sales Team, we are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate those around to ensure excellence across the entire sales process. With a base salary of £40,000 and an OTE of £80,000 (our OTE is uncapped as well), the role offers an experienced sales professional a fantastic opportunity to continue their career development. An overview of the main duties has been provided below:

  • Lead and mentor the Inbound Sales Team to achieve sales targets and objectives, acting as their main point of contact and providing clear direction and support;
  • Manage your own key accounts and opportunities to achieve your individual sales targets and objectives;
  • Implement new sales initiatives and strategies to continually adapt and improve the sales function;
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff, ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled;
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the Inbound Team and work with the Sales Manager to resolve;
  • Quality assure customer facing documents, ensuring business and branding guidelines are adhered and a uniform approach is achieved across all correspondence;
  • Oversee the commercial approval of the Inbound Team’s sales proposals with support from the Sales Manager;
  • Proactively develop the Inbound Team through conducting 1-2-1’s and appraisals, actioning team development plans and dealing with any performance or conduct issues if they should arise;
  • Manage sales pipelines effectively to ensure the team deliver on their targets, including driving best practice, regularly monitoring and reviewing CRM data and safeguarding accurate forecasting;
  • Build and drive customer loyalty and understanding, and help to provide an excellent customer experience.

Please note, this role will be based at our Head Office in Stevenage.

Skillset, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of sales and account management experience (ideally 5+ years in a B2B Sales Environment);
  • Experience in managing and leading a sales team, with excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence, inspire and motivate;
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills (both individual and team), with the ability to multi-task;
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make quick and clear decisions based on considered risks;
  • Able to delegate effectively to build on team capability;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent PC skills, including good working knowledge of MS Office and CRMs (we use PipeDrive).
